Meet the Team: Account Director, Jeff Dillow
Jeff Dillow is the Account Director of TREAD.
Q: Tell us about yourself and how you became involved in the outdoors.
A: Maybe it’s having been born in Maine, but the outdoors has always been a personal passion. Growing up in a family with fresh venison in the freezer each season, I developed an early appreciation for hunting, shooting sports, and related outdoor pursuits. Many of my early family vacations were tent camping trips in Maine and New Hampshire. To this day, few things beat a chilly evening campfire or morning coffee brewed in the percolator on a camp stove.
Living a good portion of my life within an easy drive to New Hampshire’s White Mountains, downhill skiing was a natural obsession. I hit the slopes every chance I could get from grade school into adulthood. Family campgrounds gave way to trips to explore, camp, and fish in more remote places like the Golden Road in Maine. I never stray far without an old-school and trusty DeLorme Atlas & Gazetteer showing topo and old fire access roads. And I am planning to build out my Land Rover LR3 into an overland-capable rig.
Having moved to Florida several years back, my skiing and cold-weather sports have shifted to year-round fishing, shooting sports, and other activities. I still have much to explore, but I look forward to loading up the rig and getting off the beaten path.
Q: Tell us more about TREAD.
A: Fortunately, I’ve merged my interests with my professional pursuits. I have worked with some of the top brands in shooting sports, hunting, optics, boating and fishing, and outdoor gear. That union of passion and professional experience led me to start TREAD Agency. When I ultimately joined the Kahn Media team, I didn’t just join another agency. I joined a group of fellow enthusiasts who shared many of the same passions. It made perfect sense to relaunch TREAD as part of the Kahn Media family.
Watching TREAD come to life with the team’s passion, experience, and offerings has been an incredible journey. I’m thrilled to be part of the team and excited about what the future holds for TREAD and its clients.
