That’s a Wrap on SHOT Show 2025!
This year, we kicked off the trip to Las Vegas for the annual SHOT Show with Beretta Range Day. This incredible day at the range offered the chance to enjoy a full day of trying out products from Beretta, Sako, Burris, Tikka, Norma and SilencerCo. We enjoyed hands-on experiences with the brand’s variety of products, including pistols, rifles, scopes, ammo, shotguns and some very special instructors from the gold medal-winning U.S. Olympic Shooting Team.
On the tradeshow floor, we had a chance to check out the latest products from our friends at Guzzle H20, who were exhibiting at the show for the first time. Guzzle’s water filtration and purification systems drew lots of interest from the hunting and shooting sports crowd, as they support a variety of outdoor pursuits, as well as those who live off the grid or are interested in emergency preparedness.
From there, we hopped over to the Pelican booth to check out some of its new products. It was cool to see the company adding more crossover products, including its new luggage line. Pelican’s innovative approach of modularization for many of its cases also allows users to customize the interiors for any firearm or other gear that needs to stay secure.
Over at the Coast booth, we checked out the new TX300R flashlight, which has a remote switch and delivers 3,000 lumens of tactical power. It mounts to a firearm and has six different light modes. The Coast team also showed their new voice-activated headlamp, a solution for those needing hands-free lighting.
Also new this year for the TREAD team was bringing in the “Only The Strong Survive” (OTSS) podcast to do a SHOT Show roundup. We were excited to hear from several business owners and entrepreneurs, including Jimmy Flat of Hunters for Color, Brooke Afshari of Blackout Defense and Shelli Merino of Olympus Arms. We’re excited to share this special edition episode that is coming soon.
In addition to the OTSS interviews on the tradeshow floor, Dan Kahn had the opportunity to sit down with Montana Governor Greg Gianforte to hear about Montana’s role in outdoor recreation and its support for businesses operating in the hunting and shooting sports industries. The Montana Department of Commerce has had a booth at the show for a few years, and this year, they brought in more Montana-based businesses to share the booth. The department helps drive economic growth in Montana, including those who want to start a business or move a company to the state, and we are grateful for their partnership with TREAD Agency.
Lastly, we want to thank everyone who participated in our SHOT Show scavenger hunt. Our challenge coins were hidden in various booths around the show, and after sharing clues on social media, all three coins were found. Winners will receive TREAD Agency merch, an Elite Membership to OnX Hunt, tickets to a day at Overland Expo and gear from Coast Products.
